Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy 1. The traveler may at any time terminate the travel agreement before the start of the trip. The traveler may in that case be required to pay cancellation costs to Salty Sails. 2. The amount of the cancellation fee payable by the traveler depends on the time of cancellation: a. For cancellation up to 16 calendar weeks before the start of the trip, Salty Sails will charge €500 of the travel sum (equal to the deposit). b. For a cancellation between 16 and 10 calendar weeks before the start of the trip, Salty Sails will charge 50% of the travel sum. c. For a cancellation between 10 and 6 calendar weeks before the start of the trip, Salty Sails will charge 75% of the travel sum. d. In the event of cancellation from 6 calendar weeks prior to the trip, Salty Sails will charge the full travel sum. 3. The traveler will not owe compensation as indicated in the previous paragraph if there are unavoidable extraordinary circumstances as referred to in Title 3, Chapter 4, Article 50 of Law 2653/001 from Belgian law. 4. In determining the time of cancellation, Salty Sails will assume the actual time of commencement of the voyage, which is the time of departure.
